More About Dappled Lives

While Teresa S. Gridley's poetry has been published by journals, and although it has been available to local poetry-lovers through her readings, Dappled Lives is her only collection to appear in book form. Obviously qualified to speak -- as she does so eloquently and cleverly -- of the caring relationship between patient and caregiver, she is equally engaging in her observations upon life in general. Fortunately for the reader, this volume includes a wide range of poems, a fair sampling of the poet's scope. It speaks to the idea that caring neither begins nor ends in the doctor's office, that caring extends into every aspect of human life. This is a book to be cherished, to be taken as a signal that more books from this gifted poet may soon appear.
